J Street Location

On the morning of August 8, 2006 our 21st & J street store was struck by lightning. The result was a fire that destroyed a portion of the roof. No one was ever in any immediate danger and The Lincoln Fire Dept. was able to put out the fire before the laundry equipment was destroyed. Now we are in the process of remodeling the store. We will be rebuilding a significant portion of the east end of the building. We have also removed all of the equipment to clean & paint.

Our goal is to re-open with a cleaner, brighter, updated facitlity that will welcome you back. The contractor has informed us that it will be a number of weeks before we are able to open for business. We are very grateful to those who are supporting us at our N. 27th or our 48/Old Cheney store as we rebuild. A recorded message will be available on the J street phone line to keep you updated on the progress.

This location is at the corner of 21st & J streets. 4 blocks south of 21st & O Street.
